Our History (inc 150th anniversary information)

Ceres Primary School is turning 150 years old this year. Our 150th Community Event on May 3rd 2025 celebrated this milestone with historic artefacts and photos on display in the Stoneroom, inflatable activities and sports games for the kids to enjoy, official speeches with former teachers and current students, live entertainment by former student, Taylor Henderson, and food trucks throughout the day. 

The day was a wonderful celebration with many former students, families and staff reconnecting throughout the day. A huge thank you to our planning committee and our volunteers for the who put their time and efforts into making the event the success that it was.
