Ceres is a small rural township located on the western side of Geelong, 5 kms from the suburb of Highton. The school consists of an historical sandstone building and three classrooms, an art room and a library. Enrolment is welcomed from all areas. The school currently has 46 children enrolled. The classroom set-up for this year is Grades Prep/1, Grade 2-3 and Grades 4-6
Ceres Primary School offers a quality education in a relaxed country environment. The small composite class sizes ensure personalized teaching for all children's needs. The school provides an integrated curriculum in all areas of VELS, from Prep to Grade 6, with particular focus on Early Years Numeracy and Early Years Literacy (including Reading Recovery).
